Question about the 400 free agents favor

Is the 400 free agents favor worth it? The repair in the desert, anyone know?

Now this is just me, but I find the guy in gianthold damages my stuff less than in the desert.

He gets all my business....

It works great for me too. It's well worth it if you've got some old favorite weapons that are getting a lot of permanent damage.

The dwarf in the desert repairs weapons and armor much better than anybody else, if you have 400 free agent favor.

The guy in the Gianthold is the same as every other vendor

Seems to me the vendor dwarf in the desert damages my stuff much more than the gianthold ogre, at least for me.......

Didn't the devs mention that his repair skill was very high, a while back? I thought people were wondering what use was getting the 400 agent favor now that the ogre repaired as well as he does.

Maybe I'm making all that stuff up.....

Hehehe yeah you're making that stuff up. There's no difference between the ogre and the warforged in the Harbor Apothecary.

Just speaking from my personal experience, the dwarf in the desert didn't repair things significantly better than the guy in gianthold (in fact, she's been worse to me, with the favor), and both seemed much better than any other repair done anywhere else.

That's just my experience though.....

Bad rolls. The devs have stated the favor smith (you gotta have the favor, and you gotta say the right stuff to her every time you wanna use it) is far superior to all others.

I will say that I refuse to take my "nice" weapons with small amounts of permanent damage to the GH ogre. He damages my equipment too much. The dwarf in the desert has damaged my equipment 1 time, ever, and it had 2/3 temporary damage on it from a rustie.

that's the complete opposite of me. I only take my stuff to gianthold. He has damaged my stuff less than 5 total times. I used to run out to the desert all the time to get repairs, but she damaged my stuff many, many times.

if she damages your stuff too often, you may want to bug report it. no promises on that though, you know how long it takes to fix bugs around here.

Well, after talking w/ you, I'll definitely go back to her and check it out. And by often, I'm mean really often. I was getting her damaging my stuff probably once out of every 4 visits......

I'll definitely check back (I'll give you one last chance my little dwarven buttercup).....and bug report it if it still keeps happening....
