A Brothers Restoration

Am I wrong to expect that the restoration cast by a brother in a tavern should be able to get rid of negative levels?

I have tried the brother in threnal and in the Gianthold and in neither case did it alleviate my negative level troubles. I assume that all brothers exhibit similiar results. Is this a known bug or just a misunderstanding on my part?

just standing in an inn long enough will do it... but yes: "Restoration" should get rid of one negative level. "Lesser Restoration" shouldn't, but i don't recall them having that.

I ahve had the same problem in GH. And they only have restoration, not lesser restore.

Yeah but it takes a while to get rid of 6 negative levels. Enough that your quest might reset if you were silly enough to attempt to solo some beholders.

Is there a BBB in Xendrik that I can complain to about the brothers false advertising? ****, snake oil salesmen I tell ya.

as far as I know, this was supposed to be fixed a long time ago, but never was...

It does not say lessor ress, it says res...and waiting a minute a level.....yup...what a waste of time...
