First Person View

Any ideas? I actually like being in first person view, I can see fellow players closer, I can run around the world and look around and enjoy the graphical sceanery. Call me wierd, I guess. I know it is during fights and to get a small edge on critters to see them while they can not see you, but l would like to choose to roll out and have that third person view. I don't see why it is so hard to just scroll back into a first person view?

Am I asking for to much?

This was the #1 missing feature to me for a long time. While I've since gotten used to 3rd person, I would immensely love a 1st person view mode.

I'd probably stay in it while soloing and maybe even in small groups.

Honestly, I've thought the same on occasion.

First person can give you that "I'm really there" sense that 3rd cannot. This would also, I would think, much improve the experience for those who RP.

it would be nice to be able to have the option for it.
kinda like oblivion on the xbox360/pc first person view.
for me it adds to the game as well.

I'd like first person view so I just doint find myself looking at the back of some lumbering warforged who just walked up behind me.

"Move you big ox I can't see."

Why not, but I hope you realize it's probably not as easy as "move the camera viewpoint".
If you want 1st person view to look decent, you need to make sure in particular the animations are properly displayed in such a view (and textures/models don't look too ugly when you're so close).

DDO's creature textures are already at far beyond the resolution needed for a chasecam-only game.
