Mod 5 is confirmed to have the third arc of LOTD plus a raid.
Maybe Monks and level 16 are part of mod 5... they really haven't said yet.
The only thing remotely official about Monks was "sometime this fall", and afaik they've said nothing yet about level 16... but I'm guessing no on that until near end of the year.

They are not in M5 - Monks and the Level Cap.
Where did this information come from? I'm on these forums quite a bit and while I have not seen any information contradicting this, I also have not seen any information confirming this. I am/was looking forward to Mod5 for Monks/Half-Orcs/Lvl's 15-16 because they have said that they will raise the lvl cap every spring and fall (and that the other two were also coming this fall). So before my bubble is completely burst I would like to see a dev post on this.

August is not Fall/Autumn matter of fact Fall/Autumn does not begin until late September (the 23rd to be exact)
And frankly, with the merges... I would think it remiss to be trying new classes and races in the midst of what maybe the biggest change to this game since the enhancement overhaul
I am not even particularly excited about mod 5 yet... I just want to get everyone through the merge... with names they like, equipment intact and the servers not crashing and lagtastic...

Well it's always possible that they would raise the cap... I remember being a little surprised when they raised the cap to 12 in mod 3, and even more surprised when we got the level 14 bump in mod 4. Perhaps it's another well kept secret that LOTD series 3 and the other new content in mod 5 is geared up to level 16 and they'll let the server merge sink it a bit before blabbing on that. We'll probably soon know when mod 5 hits Risia.

Has there been a lvl cap increase that did not happen at the same time as a new mod? and comon August - September, ya know those months are consecutive...

If they were going to add a new class or up the levels I am quite sure you'd see it in the splash screen.

It has been stated, by the devs, that Monks are this Fall, it has also been stated that the Level Cap is NOT in 5.0, and should be in the Fall.
Given that we get Updates every month (or almost every month now) ie. 4.1, 4.2
Given that we get Modules every quarter, ie 2.0, 3.0, 4.0
We know that 5.0 will add the LotD Raid already
We know 5.0 should be in August (Summer)
It follows that 5.1 - September & 5.2 - October
Thus it follows that 6.0 - November (Fall)
Thus 6.0 would be the most likely place for Monks, Half-Orcs, Half-Elves, and the Level Cap increase.
No, I can't reference the Dev Posts, cuz I don't know where they are, but this has been discussed before, and most everyone agrees that this is the "accepted timeline"

Well, given past experience, I would personally lean toward a Module, not an update (X.0 not 6.X).
Drow were introduced in Mod 2.0 (I think), 1750 Favor/32-point Builds in Mod 3.0. I think the overall theme of the previous releases since launch have been:
Modules: Major Content Releases, Major Features & Enhancements
Updates: Small content releases, minor features & enhancements
ie:
Mod 1: Content: VON, Dragon. Features: None
Mod 2: Content: Restless Isles, Titan, Features: Drow (400 Favor) , Mail
Mod 3: Content: Desert, Marilith, Features: Level Cap to 12, Auction House, 1750 Favor
Mod 4: Content: Gianthold, Reaver, Features: Level Cap to 14, Agents Favor
The interim updates have (mostly) been small content releases (1-8 quests), minor UI enhancements (Weapon Sets, Item Locking), New Enhancements/Spells
The one real deviation was 3.2 - The Enhancement System overhaul. IMHO, I think that would have normally been something targetted for a Module not an Update, but given the 4.0 was about to come out with the Level Cap increase, it makes sense that they release the Enhancement System before 4.0.
So given that, I really think Monks, Half-Orcs, and Half-Elves will all be released together as part of Mod 6.0 along with a Level Cap increase, and should also provide at least 1 more character slot (but I am hoping for 2-3, so I can build a Half-Orc Barbarian, and a Dwarven Monk)

Adding Half-orcs and half-elfs isn't that big of a deal so I would imagine that it wouldn't be worthy of a Module release. Hopefully we'll see it in 5.1 or .2.

I believe the original plan was to increase the level limit by two every six months. Has it already been six months?
Personally, I expect to see Monks, a level cap increase and maybe half-orcs/half-elves in Mod 6. As for schedule, I'm expecting something like:
Mod 5 - August
Update 5.1 - September
Update 5.2 - October
Mod 6 - November
But that's just me
