    No, I did not record "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" if that's what you're asking. Though, sometimes I wish I did because I wouldn't mind the extra cash.

    When dates slipped or planned features were dropped, the understanding population accused Turbine of being liars, deceivers, and a few other less appropriate adjectives.

    The consequence of this is Turbine's development continued but they stopped telling the public what was in the pipline unless they were 99% certain the code was to be implemented soon - everthing else became a warm, fuzzy concept of future development.

    The unfortunate public reaction is there appears to be little development going on, especially when you look at the development achievments of other Turbine games. In reality, Turbine is just being tight lipped (and I get the impression they don't realize how tight-lipped they are being) you have to read between the lines as to what is in the pipeline. I see some points for some optimism.

    Now we know that there is one class, one race, crafting, housing, at least 2 levels, and all the quests and adventure areas that come with 2 modules before the end of the year. A lot of work has gone into re-tooling and expanding the low and mid-level game. A lot of work has gone into modifying enhancements, spells, and other systems. If you look closely, that is a LOT of work going into the game just before the Christmas season. If Turbine rolls well on their Wisdom attribute, you will see an advertising push starting late September or early October to accompany all this good work.

    I agree; we dont' have the impression that anything is being worked on because Turbine isn't telling us.

    They should flat say "This is the state of DDO. This is our yearly goals." Makes things easier.

    Default We Love This Game

    I played Dungeons and Dragons shortly after it first came out, and kicked it up when "Advanced" DnD came out. It was fun, but it was work, especially as a Dungeon Master. Coming up with new adventures took a great deal of time. Even buying pre-packaged adventures (yes, I did at times) meant preparation time to use it with adventurers.

    I have been playing DDO for 17 months now. It is very enjoyable and I appreciate all of the hard work that goes into setting up even one quest. For those who say it's boring, I say, try playing a different character style. Playing a cleric when I started with a WF barbarian has taught me how hard I was on healers.

    My son is 6 1/2 and has been playing his own characters for about four months now. We typically play together and it's fun seeing his wonder and amazement when we go into quests or areas like Cerulean Hills. He's learned the same lessons many other noobs do (stay behind the rogue) but he is a quick learner. He took care of himself with the whole "How many times do I talk to Dryden this time?" in the Catacombs.

    Bottom line to all the Devs: Thanks for all of your hard work in making this a fun experiance for my son and me.

    I don't think you've really thought this through. Instead of being known for witty posts, you'd be known for making bad music. Would that really be worth the money? (keep in mind, the money would be long since spent by now)
    Dear Posters;
    Reality sucks. Fantasy games are a great way to escape reality. So please stop forcing reality into our fantasy discussions. We certainly don't need the reminder.
    Thanks for your understanding

    i was about to cancel my account, i posted in the argo forums my see ya laters, but the merge was annouced the next day so ive decided to stay for at least another month. the merge on the test server was succesful im very confident that it will go smoothly on the live servers, got my fingers crossed anyway. i got a feeling the merge will breath life into the game for me anyway.

    If you are from Argonessan, was lack of online players really a problem? The times I played there it seemed rife with people.
