Default It's not easy being green.

Does this warforged look like he's armored in mithril?

No. He looks like Kermit the Frog.

Please, turbine artists, give Mithril Body docents some love. There are a few nice ones out there, but these awful ones that just don't live up to the quality of other armor designs should be removed as well.

I'm confused. Barring the gun-metal grey portions, and the pink jewel (which means that docent is colored pink), which are the only parts related to the docent, you are the one that choose the bright green color at character creation.

It's not going to matter what docent you put on, your still going to be a big bad green machine.

WF Mithral Armor has always covered a much smaller % of a WF's body (at least in DDO), I assume to somehow relate to it being medium armor. Maybe there are some that don't follow this trend, but all the ones I've known for sure were Mithral share that trait.

The biggest complaint I can see from that shot is that the Mirthral armor looks a heck of a lot like a few Heavy Armor Docents I've seen.

Aside from missing the tassle on your hat, I would have guessed your WF was trying to infiltrate Santa's Workshop. hehe.

Although all around I agree, there are some really horrid designs and appearances for armor all around, not just docents.

The one that always stuck out in my mind was the Shining Adamantine Plate.

It has to be the dullest armor I have ever seen, looking more in tune with an old dirty pair of long johns rather than Shiny Adamantine. Actually there isnt a shiny piece on it.

I hope that when crafting is introduced, that the crafters will be able to choose designs when making armors and weapons, and not just choose stats by the ingredients and be left with some random appearance the computer generates. By allowing players to choose the looks in that manner, it will create a much higher demand for people who like to craft, as players exchange their ugly armors for ones they want, othwise crafting is gonna suffer a bit I think. Anyways, this isnt about crafting, sorry.

I am also greatly upset by Docents for 'light armor'

Especially if you don't have any body feat. You look utterly ridiculous.

There are some Adamantine body DOcents that look decent (like the one I call the Turtle) but overall Docents need a SERIOUS visual revamp.

I do NOT look ridiculous... I look pretty!

What, your WF doesn't have a sparkly, jeweled circlet and a shiny purple sash? Sucker!

So it is.... Eh, my point still stands.

I just assumed it went: Composite = Light, Mithral = Medium, and Adamantine = Heavy. Serves me right.

But now I'm tempted to make a Dex Ranger WF taking the Mithral Fluidity enhancement a few times.

Your feats are better spent elsewhere, trust me.

Go Str-based, maxing out Dex with items, and you'll rock.

    Anyway, back on topic!

Light Armor body docents look bad. Not all "I ain't got no body" WF are casters, y'know.

Beats the one I had the other day that loked like I was wearing a Fuzzy orange skirt that was open in the front (or maybe a furry orange jacket tied around my waist?) with some orange shoulder pads, I switched to one that looked like the backpack just cause the last one was horrid.

I personally get the most amusement out of the ones that make WF look like they're wearing a deformed washing machine.

Aye believe thats a Adamantine Body style, been there done that although I thought it kinda made us look like some 30's or 40's vision of a space suit, kinda like Buzz Lightyear.

Basically putting on a docent is like a lottery, you have a 1:1,000,000 chance of not looking like a total tard It's tough for a WF to look cool and be taken seriously.

Heck, I have to say that half the reason I like to play WF is because of the gaudy docents! I've had the Miss America Sash...really hated to give it up when I got something better.

My personal favorite is my fearsome docent that I wear most of the time. Hot pink with a little backpack with a skull and crossbones on it. It goes really well with the lampshade superior combustion hat I think.

ps. How do I post screenshots? I've taken them, but could not attach. Do I need to use this photobucket site?

He means this one, 'Luau' Pyropus. And I don't know why the front is open. At least the camera is behind me so I don't have to stare at my junk all game.

But, I like 'Little Miss Stormreach' Pyropus.

Actually those don't look bad. The 1st one makes you look like a roman warforged and the second makes you look like an aztek warforged.
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

    Default Mad Max Reject

I Need to remember to take a picture of my warforge in various docents, but one he looks like a bad version of a mad max reject. I another he looks like he is wearing a 'hello kitty' shirt.

Though I do screen through my docents before I sell them if I have multiple versions of the same one. I will say that some docents are quite cool, but you need to look through them to find them.

Discovery - A company that will go to the ends of the Earth for its people will find it can hire them for about 10% of the cost of Americans.

Mistakes - It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

Wishes - When you wish upon a falling star, your dreams can come true. Unless it's really a meteorite hurtling to the Earth which will destroy all life. Then you're pretty much hosed no matter what you wish for. Unless it's death by meteor.
