If you are invisible, you can post and noone will know your online. It will look like you posted and logged out.

It seems I can now Delete at will, too (in Dev Discussion only). The questions are, "Who is Will, and what did he do so that we are deleting at him?"

Same deal here: a founder who cannot go invis

No invis option and no delete option for me.

To State the obvious, likely when they set up the founder access they didn't given them the same permissions as the Community Member access level. Probably just an oversight. Likely to be corrected now that it has been brought to their attention.

Yeah i figured it was just permisions. but i dont know if they will fix it.

Only difference I can see is that you are a founder...maybe that flagg has the invis option turned off for you, I don't know.

In jest, maybe its because you are a rather vocal and well known poster and Turbine thinks you simply couldnt be invis even if you tried...haha...Just poking at ya.

As for deleting posts...I have never been able to nor have ever had the option to be able to do that.

It would seem then that the situation is a permissions problem.

At this point if they want to maintain forms of permissions, it may be near impossible for them to correct with so many thousands of forum members.

However the founder invis thing should be easily corrected if it too is a permission problem, and everyone should have that option. Deleting though is a different situation, and may be allowed only in certain catagories or topics, and each has to be set for each type of permission group. Chances are they have them all mixed up, and little interest in spending time to straighten it all back out.

edit: oh, and my light is red next to my name .. says "binnsr is invisible" .. what's the point in being invisible if your status is shown as 'invisible' although, i could appear offline for other folks i guess
