    Thumbs up

I think I'm just happy that they're finally getting around to this. I'm not entirely sure of what the hold up's been - I don't pay that much attention to the forums. But it'll be nice to finally be able to play my level seven cleric again.

... So I want to see the new content really badly ...
    Iilara - 20 cleric, Ambrie - 20 rogue, Aereana - 20 fighter, Caelmal Ru'kor - 18 ranger, Suiren - 16 cleric, Eilshe - 6 bard, Sefana - 11 rogue, Tracella - 3 favored soul, Rhyavel - 2 fighter/11 ranger, Rislyn - 4 barbarian, Vorehl, - 7 favored soul

If you're going to make us chase the crackhead around the room, you could at least fix the problems with attacking mobs on the run. I love running behind a mob, actually pressing against them because i'm so close to their backs, and not getting a dice roll on my swings.

I have a lvl13 drow cleric that actually turns undead quite well. But it is really hard to build a cleric to do this in DDO. I started with a 16char and improved turning feat. Really built this cleric to be a healer first and turn undead second. But later I took every enhancement I could to raise char and turning ability......plus sacred shield and now a +6 char item.
I turn very well on quests that are my lvl or lower, and also turn well if the quest is set on normal difficulty. It seems that hard and elite actually raise the resistance of the undead to turning somehow.....beyond what would seem to be right for their hitdice.
Anyway, it is possible, but you really have to take every bonus you can get your hands on.
I'm considering making another drow cleric with a 20char from the get go and see how well I can do.

ROFLMAO! Oh this change just made this quest fun again! No more surrounding him and beating him like a pinata! He gets out every time now, and you get to chase him around as the mindflayers spawn

The days of the easy elite loot run are OVER

Way to go Turbine, you're starting to think like a Dungeonmaster!
I never have to do POP again!!!!! Whipeee!
Well, I guess I'll do it once just to see the change in action.

I've seen some of the most successful groups where everyone was shooting at the badguys all of the time.....it's funny to watch them run back and forth after the last guy that hit them. lol

This isn't in the first look release notes, but was in last week's WDA. What gives here? This quest is one of the few that have stood the test of time, but now is broken every other time I've run it. Hopefully it was an oversight, and this will be in the final release notes tomorrow.
Interesting note on this....have one guy D door back to the beginning.....it seems to make the spectre agro on the party again and come back to where he can be killed. I think he is actually trying to get to the people on the other side, that might have tried to range him before they jumped down.
Anyway try it some time if you find your self in that situation.

The easy lootrun days aren't over. You can do crucible on elite in 20-23 minutes (without cheating/using beholder cookies/etc and you get 5 chests, not just 3!). As "uber" as everyone tries to act, I'm guessing the average PoP Elite run went about 25-30 minutes (chest spawning last, bad dice rolls for casters/vorpal/smite/etc). Sure there were times you can get it down to 15 or so, but thats when firing on all cylinders and getting the chests quick.

Default Where did the class icons go?

Just curious, with the latest update released now on the LFM page you can see levels and race (save for those anon) but no longer class. Did i miss the show where this feature did a disappearing act? As much fun as it is to join a party and get the mystery grab bag of 4 rogues, and a wizard I just like to see before hand what I'm getting into . Yes, yes I know you can look up the names on the who panel and play the class match game, I was just curious what happened to the expedited method.

It's a bug. The appropriate Dev (Lasker) is already aware and working on a fix.

Average PoP run over the last loot weekend clearing all the way from Dolorruh to Xoriat was around 22 minutes...we were just operating with such...I hate to say it...synergy, that it was a breeze...maybe one or two total deaths a run, tops. It was beautiful...

My big gripe with The Crucible is the maze is a PITA...after that it's not too bad...

It's not a problem if you have a ranged weapon...stop chasing them, switch to ranged, hit a couple times, the mob stops and turns, as he's turning switch to melee and close on him. It'll usually take a couple hits for the mob to turn tail and run again...even better if you have two people, one dedicated to each attack type so you don't have to switch.

That's the tactic for general mobs, I haven't however run the new PotP, so ymmv.
