Default Seeking knowledge: Which solo quests to do at lvl 3?

I got a lvl 3 sorc, it's my first character.. I find it's a real pain to get groups and would like to know if there's quests in particular that are very rewarding to solo at theses levels.

    Thanks

Kobolds new ringleader has some very nice xp for this level, although unless you rely on charming monsters to do all your fighting for you it will probably be too tough.

It's hard to say what a 3rd level sorc can do by himself as sorc's are probably the hardest class to solo at low level. If you are interested in soloing you are probably better off running a paladin or cleric. Cruelion (sp?) Hills could be fun to run around in, and Durk's got a secert is a pretty good one to solo.

At low levels you don't need a full party, or an optimally built party to take on most quests. Throw up a LFM saying Harbor quests and you might be surprised how quickly you can go from soloing to having 3 or 4 others join.

    1. If you're new to playing the game, you probably shouldn't be a sorc.
    2. If you're trying to solo at level 3, you probably shouldn't be a sorc.
    3. If you're trying to solo without already having a lot of funds for supplies, you probably shouldn't be a sorc.

Overall: you'd probably do better to put aside the sorc and roll up a paladin or cleric to start playing with.

If you want to solo, try a warforged wizard or sorc. The self healing (spells or wands) really helps. Charms are definitely the way to go. Stick to things a level or two lower than yourself and go slowly.

I find the daggers' quest (Goodblade) and Low road to be the easiest rewarding quests that are easily soloed.
Then Kobolds' new ringleader and Info is key are nice, but can be tough for a squishy L3 sorcerer (will depend on your spells too).
Your best bet is to get groups. Form one yourself if you can't find one. These quests don't really need an optimized party either.

Go to the marketplace and run STK (shan-to kor). It pretty much requires an arcane caster for the end boss. Make sure you have magic missile or Niac's.

Man i hope this is a joke..

To the OP: Try to solo 'short' quests, as opposed to medium or long ones.

Just sort your Compendium by level, and start at level 1. Do them on solo then normal. If normal goes well, try hard. If not, move on to another quest.

Soloing a sorc is tough. You need to be very careful, and not get into a spot where you'll have a bunch of guys on you.

What spells do you have? Burning hands is good at low levels, as is Magic Missile.
