I did a long series of posts as a good bye to the game for a while on how to implement prestige classes as enhancement options.
Maybe other people will find it worth the read, I dunno.

Just a thought, but I'd like to see a Race option of half-Orcs and a class option of a Monk. I don't know if this is already in the works, but I just like the idea of it!
Monk and Druid added to the game.
Half-Orc, Half-Elf, and Gnome added to the game.
There is a whole other thread about content, but this is my thought. Adding new content is great. Yet they could do so much more with what they have in the game currently. As we all know people only run certain quests. What could be done is an overhaul on the current quests in the game that are not commonly run. Either add more xp to these quests and/or have nice end rewards. Some quests are long and tough and the xp is bad and the end reward is horrible. (some of the house quests come to mind) If the xp was increased these quests would be run more often which would give the feeling of "more content" without having to waste any time on development. I bet if "Faithful Departed" gave out 8k xp it would be run a little bit more.
Better explanations on what skills and feats do. "empower healing, increases the amount you can heal and uses extra mana" Ok, so much extra does it heal and how much more mana does it use? It's gotten better since the game came out, used to be really bad, but still could use a little bit better explanation for people that have never played the game or for the feats that pertain only to this game.
There's more, but I feel those are the main things.
