Sorrowdusk

Has anyone killed all 12 of the rare encounters on Sorrowdusk? I have all of them but the gargoyle. I have seen him spawn may times but he just sits there and I cannot target him. Also, how do you get at the chest when he does spawn? My Ranger has a 52 jump while buffed and I cannot make the jump to the ledge it is sitting on.

They will be fixing him with the next update. Other than that, you can send a GM request to activate him.

A guild-mate of mine tried to talk to a GM and a Sr. GM and both told him nothing could be done.

Simply type into a game play ticket, "I need the named gargoyle on sorrowdusk to be spawned" But he has to be there for them to do it (I think) You will see a Granite Gargoyle sitting on top of the first right hand side ledge. He won't move and you will see the sparkle of his chest (yes it is crazy to get to it, like a 60+ jump) GM said that the chest is there as intended so that won't be fixed.

A GM spawned him for our group on Monday. We couldn't get the chest but at least we could get the XP.

I understand you can get the chest with high jump, a jump spell, feather fall and haste. You run off the rock near the end of the shelf he's on and float around the pillar to grasp the ledge. I couldn't do it, but I'm told (friend of a friend) that it's possible.

12? there are only 10 that count.. I've heard of a named spider but i've never seen it and i've gotten to 1500 kills on 3 characters so i kind of doubt it exists..

Then that GM was totally wrong and out of order. I have requested help for the gargoyle before, and a GM happily spawned him down on the ground. You should find out the name and tell Sparker.

There is no named spider. I would have thought there was, but there isn't. And yes, I do have the rare completed. There is a named scorpion.

You must have gotten them to spawn it for you (as I did) before the word came down from Sparker to stop doing that. People have to wait for 4.2 now.
