    Smile Parisian Linins of Hiltonia

    +6 to CHA
    -6 To INT
-10 to Haggle/Persuasion/Bluff when dealing with w/Female NPCs
+10 to Haggle/Persuasion/Bluff when dealing with w/Male NPCs
    +10 to Perform

This Fine Robe was worn by a Long Forgotten Heiress in the Long Forgotten Kingdom of Hiltonia. The Heiress was extremely fair to the eye, although a bit slow of wit. The Heiress had a ability to spellbind those of the Male persuation while drawing automatic ire from the females of any species. Although the Heiress has long since departed, her robes still hold some of her "talents" imbued into this robe.

I think Teufel's Idea sounds pretty good.

It is a complete waste of time to code for "one of" items. So one person gets lucky and then never again in the history of the game does anyone else get the chance to get it. What's the point? How doest that improve the game? If they tell us where it will be given out it will also force a mass camp at that location until someone produced a SS showing they got it.

Nope... No unique items in the game please.

After reading and re-reading your post, considering all the fine points you've made, and after due consideration of a COMPLETELY FICTIONAL piece of armor, I've decided to go against your advice, nay rant, and keep the Epic tag on. My reasonings are thus:
    1. There was only 1 Iteve Srwin, Master Ranger, therefore only 1 suit of leather
    2. My post, and as such I don't particularly care what ANYONE thinks about the Game or the Mechanics of the Game or my post
    3. And this is important, this is a completely fictional piece of armor
    4. I seriously doubt Turbine would listen to an Old Grizzled Marine on a suit of armor that borders on the obscene. In fact, as an aside, i'm surprised this post has lasted this long.

As a side note, I loved Steve and his shows. He always made me laugh, which I do rarely.

    Cheers!

I wish there were unique items - 1 per server. Nothing completely uber or overbalanced, but something that would be very powerful for a certain level range (maybe 6-10?) after which it would be average.

I love seeing new things/armors/robes/etc. around and asking about them. I'd also really enjoy if they not only had unique ones, but then had NPCs telling lore of them so in the back of your mind, every chest you pop, you think .... "C'mon Armor of Iteve Srwin ...C'mon ..." LOL.

Just goes to show, no matter what your intentions, someone's gonna take you seriously.

While I agree that your post could be seen as offensive by the "Ultra-PC police" ( good luck saying anything they don't pick apart and twist into some kinda bigioted BS ) who seem to be breeding like rabbits now-a-days, I think most of the peeps on these forums have a pretty good sence of humor. I know it gave me a laugh, and I watched croc hunter religiously.

    Talking Huh

Sorry I have no idea of what M: TG is. I actually got the idea when I made a Donkey Bane sword in a campaign to annoy the players. It was called the sword of A%& Kicking.

    My homage to Monty Python:

    Killer Rabbit
    Trinket
Summon Killer Rabbit 1x charges per day
    Duration: 1 min
Effect: Target creature must pass DC14 check or immediately die to vorpal effect from Killer Rabbit. Killer Rabbit then chooses another creature or player (including caster) at random to attack. This creature or player must also pass a DC14 check or suffer the same fate.

"Aye, tis no ordinary rabbitt. Look at its teeth!"

    Holy Hand Grenade
    Trinket
Level 7 Delayed Blast Fireball 1x charges per day
Restriction: Must be of Lawful Good Alignment
Effect: Creates a ball of fire that detonates on impact, causing an explosion of flame that causes 20d6 damage to targets around it. A successful Reflex save reduces the damage by half.

The Holy Hand Grenade was the sacred relic carried by Brother Maynard of the Silver Flame. You have been deemed worthy to carry this Holy Hand Grenade to vanguish the Lord's enemies into tiny bits. Thou must remember to countest to three. No more, no less...

Soiled Armor of Brave Sir Robin
    +3 Full Plate
Expeditious Retreat 3x charges per day
+6 to Diplomacy (to help monsters choose targets other than self)
    -2 to Will Saves

This armor is imbued with a foul stench of fear and bodily excrement. It's previous owner chose to ran away from battles rather than towards them.

    Magic: The Gathering

One of the joke sets had a Donkey for every color and a few spells that affected Donkeys

    You had the:
    Smart A-
    Big A-
    Dumb A-

    and then spells like

    Kick A-

I think a nicer thing would be if there were a major quest (like multiple parts that could only been done on certain days of the week) that ended with a (bind on acquire) custom made armor.

Or better still, a quest that in addition to a normal quest reward, also gave you a visible effect, like a Continual Flame-like effect on your armor. Or perhaps a slotless clickie of daylight (counters darkness and sends vampires running).

Or the quest reward let you make a one time rotation of your armor's or weapon's appearance to another pre-existing model. Of course the dragon scale armors already look pretty awesome.
