Changing servers

Why do we have to totally shut down the game to change servers? That is insane!! Why have the Devs never put a choice in the char login page to change servers? Do not many people try other toons on other servers, or is it just me?

Trust me I feel your pain hon. You should try touring all the planes when you have to exit out, then pull it back up, for every single one. I don't think I've seen the Turbine logo so many times in a row in all my life as I did this weekend ><

Sure would be nice other games you can easily change servers like swg and wow would be nice to see it here.

How can we bring this to the attention of the Devs so maybe a solution can be found? This really needs to be fixed.

Word. Granted, there probably aren't too many people who change servers frequently, but I'm another one. I'll do an interview for the podcast on one server, then want to log into my home server to play. It's a pain to shut the game down and then restart it. Seems like it wouldn't be too difficult a change.

I mean it's not THAT bad... you hit exit game and it just minimizes down into tray, you right click and hit sign in and it pops back up

But the whole going through the logo, splash screen, log in, BEFORE you get the server list.... not ftw
