Tomorrow is father's day, NOW is the time to play DDO, and I can't...I think I'm entitled to gripe a little.

I agree 100% with Werk. If part of this weekend is to reward the long time players as well as the returning players, then I would hope Turbine would consider an addtional weekend...Tomorrow is Father's Day and plans are made already.

Also, I don't want to be a "Negative Nancy", but there is no guarantee that the fix will work and we will be up at the stated time.

I can't speak for the Coin Lords, but I will be making a special effort on my part to focus on events on the affected servers tonight.

What kind of events? Well, I have been playing a little dice game all weekend so far where if you beat my die roll, you win your choice of a few prizes. I have also been playing a fun coal-throwing game in the PvP pits and even a short game of Find the Loot (which involves me hiding something and everyone going out to find it.) Nothing involved, just a few short games that are fun, don't detract you from enjoying the bonus XP and treasures this weekend and give you a chance at something exclusive you can only get from me.

So keep an eye out for me on the affected servers tonight, if you see me, let's play a game - you might win!

Why not the powers that be at DDO give everyone that was affected by todays 30 second throw out. (Dev's you should have a list of who was on) Anyway, my suggestion is to email each of those affected a +2 or +3 tome of their choice. When they click on the tome it would have a drop down allowing them to choose what kind of tome they want. It would I think for the purpose of the game have to be bound to them.

As many of you have already noticed in the newsletter, we've announced plans for another weekend of looting and debauchery when all loot gains another level and you can earn 50% more XP! Our second Return to DDO Weekend invites all former players to return and experience the new challenges and adventures that they've missed! In addition, all players will receive:

* +50% bonus to earned XP
* +1 loot level on chests

And, as a special treat, live events will occur throughout the weekend!

The bonuses will be in effect from Friday morning June 15th through Monday morning, so plan for the adventure of your life!

Odd... I came back for the weekend and haven't had any lag or slow load times yet, in fact the game seems to run smoother than before. I was a bit upset about my server coming down for emergency maintenance but it's not like it was planned or anything. Stuff like this happens and we move on. Personally I'm loving my time back in the game so far.

Extending the free weekend a day to compensate for the downtime would be a nice bonus though I won't hold my breath.

edit: guess I should finish reading all the dev posts before I open my mouth.

For the servers; Riedra, Thelanis, Aundair, Xoriat, Tharask and Khyber, the loot and xp weekend has been extended until Tuesday at 9am EDT as our thank you for your patience!

Bonus loot weeken is extended to Teusday. Thanks Turbine, despite some of the negative emotes coming from people I reckon you have a great game and are doing a great job. (just wish I could be lucky and get some of the good treasure)

Yeah, I work a crappy 6 days a week job and have a family and do alot outside of work and such. I get saturday nights to play this game and stay up late. I could care less about special loot and such. I basically pay for 4 nights a month I can play. Thats now down to 3, who cares about an extension to a night I cant play. This has made up my mind, WoW here I come.
