    Default Moot Enhancement

One of the new enhancements which only high elven clerics may take gives +1 to hit with scimmys.
... neither clerics nor elves are proficient with scimmys...

Given how many feats clerics get, and the fact that elves are proficient with longswords and rapiers... don't think it will be used much, if at all. May want to alter the weapon choice on this one to something either the class or race is naturally proficient with.

They're looking at, for 4.2, an upgrade to said enhancements, that will allow you to use a turn undead to gain proficiency with said weapons until the next time you rest.

Be careful what you wish for, what you say is best; for sometimes what you seek is found, not at the end of the quest.

    1. A huge number of clerics take one level of fighter or paladin, giving them proficiency in many weapons, including scimitars.

    2. With update 4.2 you can spend a Turn undead usage to bestow Scimitar proficiency on a target.

Can you post a link to this? I couldn't find it in the release notes and am VERY interested.

It's in the WDA, stickied at the top of this forum. The example lists Longbow (Silver Flame) only, but applies to each deity/favored weapon. As a human, your options are Sovereign Host for Longsword, and Silver Flame for Longbow.
