Anything that is an "outsider" except Raksashas.

This includes but is not limited to:

    Hellhounds
    Renders
    Reavers
    Flensers
    Mephits
    Jarraliths
    Maraliths
    "Fiendish" creatures
    Elementals

There may be more but I can't think of them at the moment.

Banishers work on all elementals (Fire, Earth, Air)? If so I need to start using mine more. I wish each monster had all their pertanent info listed in the info window.

Mephits, PK hounds, Fiendish Firebrand Gnolls, Rakshasa, Jariliths, Mariliths(only 2 in the game atm, both immune to weapon banishing), those lion air element things in Prison of Planes, Elementals(all), Quori(Stalkers and Spinners), any other Outsider, so long as the HitDice are under the required amount. On Elite this means mainly the Mephits are banishable by weapon, and everything else will require the spell Banishment(Due to things having their HD's multiplied by Elite... which doesn't make much sense... just raise the HitDie amount instead... from a 1d10 HP per die to a 1d20 or so...). Anyway, so long as when you hit Examine it says Outsider somewhere you can banish it. Even a Marut(need the spell, too many HD). That is, if the Devs have un-broken it.

Most times it is safest to try a banishing crossbow due to the critical hit range(17-20 with improved crit) and the fact you don't have to be in its face to banish it.

Some elementals are immune to banishment. The ones in Tempest Spine are confirmed immune. I don't know why this is, but using a banishing bow, on a crit instead of getting a dead elemental or a 34*save message I would get a 34-immune message.

Also banishers should work on pets too I believe.

They work on all extraplanar creatures. There is however a HD cap on banishers of around 23.

Rakshasas are immune, something about them being native outsiders.
