The DDO game worlds will be unavailable on Thursday, December 9th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Eastern (-5 GMT) to release Update 52: Portent of Dread. Read the release notes on DDO.com.

Also some interesting options added around augments.

But how rare will they be and how will they be acquired?

The last set of "common" (lmao) augments are so rare and inaccessible they are hardly worth planning into gear set ups unless you are very lucky or have the large wedge of AS spare to purchase. It's about as helpful as trying to plan a specific Changestone in.

This has been raised several times before. For Crom's sake wake the heck up and put these in the store at least - folks WILL pay for them!

This comes up mostly blank. I don't like discord but I have only been to a couple of channels. Their app is terrible and doesn't want to turn off. If this is official, why isn't this in the patch notes or at least on the forums?

Hardcore just shutdown with a whopping 9 SECOND warning. No "in an hour", no "in 45 minutes" No warning at all until out of nowhere it dropped like a rock!!! My party members and I thought the downtime was cancelled!!!

And yes, I know some twit will just have to say "shoulda known better" but still, this one sucked....

Just hope I'm alive in 4 hours

I also experienced this on Hardcore server the previous downtime last week. Like it's set to only display a 60 second warning.

Exactly, there should be a way to purchase ALL common augments (like for mythical remnants or in Gianthold, etc.) if they add all augments into the shop it's also ok but the main source for EVERYTHING should be playing DDO and not using the DDO shop.
And no, super rare dropping items do NOT count as available in DDO with playing...

And to mention it here too... it is not a good solution if every augment appears in up to 8 versions with the only difference of the minimum level, the by far better solution is in my opinion only ONE version for each augment and if necessary they scale either with the ML of the item (like the augments from haunted halls for example the Meteoric Star Ruby) or even better with the character level like all items should (IMHO)
