    Default plain old question

We are talking the illusionist tree

I know conjured blades are 'ghost touch'
    but
If you imbue a weapon with shadow (one of the powers choices)
does that in fact make the weapon you imbued also ghost touch?

My first thought is no, but if that was the case I would expect them
to clarify that in the description, but they don't.

I do know it turns the base damage type to 'force' but does that automatically
make it ghost touch because it is force?

there is a lot of 'vagueness' in the description.
"it makes your weapon more powerful" really? how?
It adds +1 to weapon - My idea of more powerful and SSG idea are
    different.

So if someone knows the deal, would love clarification, thxs

Imbued weapons don't change to force damage, and they don't have ghost touch. All it does is make it immune to damage, ie ooze and rust

Correct. Making the imbue pretty dang useless.

Well it saves you having to switch weapons when fighting things that break weapons... and certain excellent weapons in heroic levels have really low durability so being able to make sure they won't break can be a big help.

Also it turns it into a casting implement, giving a little extra boost to spellpower, never hurts to have your cocoon do a little more healing.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

Well considering the only practical application of FI is with a cha pal, really...it is a nice utility skill, not having to swap for oozes. With ghost touch in kotc, you can pretty much never have to swap for anything

    Also +1 to the weapon's enhancement bonus = +1 to hit/damage.

And gives a hella sick cosmetic effect

Does block other weapon enchantments though, like NR hats - so it saves me clickies and inventory space too!
