    Default Mysterious Remnants

    Could we get these to auto gather in bags already?!?!? They are very small and very easy to miss...

    They already do....they go in your collectables bag.

    I think he means he'd like them to go directly to your inventory, rather than have to be picked up from the environment. I agree with this, but it's not likely the game will make this QOL change anytime soon.

    Basically like fragments of the 12 do now.

    I like that idea actually. I had mis-understood it then.

    The changed it for scrolls/seals, why not remnants?

    I think one factor is that they don't want players to just park alts at the entrance, and have them auto-collect remnants while being afk - one might recall that having them expire after 3 minutes was brought on to stop similar behavior.

    I'll agree they can be easy to miss though. I suggest one or both of the following:
    • They glow a little, to make them more noticeable. Or maybe just sparkle like collectible nodes do.
    • Have them be automatically picked up when you move near them. This would make it easier to "accidentally" pick them up (such as immediately after they drop next to you), and also not cause players to have the Q/E or move the mouse to where the small remnant is.
      • But please still make them select-able and clickable as well - Q/E-ing around is a great way to find remnants
      • "Pickup by proximity" could also be a great QoL update for collectable nodes
    That's not lag, it's just DDO trying to become turn-based again.

    I like those ideas, walking over stuff to collect it is fun and userfriendly, works great in other games. Maybe a little sound for it too. And make it work like this for collectables too.
    Keep the optional targeting and manual pickup too, yes.
