    Default Hardcore Server Transfers Have Returned

    Character Transfers from the Hardcore server have returned, and will remain available through January 3rd, 2021. This is your final opportunity to transfer characters from the Hardcore server. Thanks!

    Default Pets

    Can you please explain why pets cant be transfered? I accidentally summoned a pet on HC that I won on my daily gold roll of 100 and wished that I hadn't when I found out that SS doesn't allow for transfers of pets. I won the little scarecrow named Joe and totally want to transfer him to my home server of Thelanis - is there any way that I can be compensated for my 100 roll or be allowed to bring my pet with me?

    Because they're Account-based and not Character-based. Like the contents (or purchase!) of the Shared Bank, you can't transfer server-specific account features.

    so are bta items - a pet is the exact same - with the exception that every character has the pet. Why should we be penalized? If anything have a pop-up box saying that it won't be transferred with your character then. It still is lame and players who actually won a gold roll of 100 should not be penalized. I would still like to be compensated. I shilled out a ton of money to be a, idk what you call it, founding member?, with the daily gold rolls and think this is rather comical that I can't be compensated with providing me the same pet on my main server.

    Thank you. I was checking in about once a week waiting for this. Although the Hard Core League was far beyond my abilities, I very much appreciate the free learning tomes. If I ever return to play I am sure one of my characters will find them useful.

    Really? <sigh>

    Because (and stop me if any of this sounds familiar) it's NOT the exact same. A pet is not an item, it's nothing like an item in inventory, it's a feature - a server specific feature that is tied to your account, not any one Character. And when you transfer a Character, only character items get transferred.

    Accept it and move on.

    Or go for broke and whine about not being able to take the Total Favor reward you earned for Drow or Favored Soul to a different server (after you turned them in on HC).

    While this did not directly affect me, what is going to happen to characters that were transferred from Hardcore to Thelanis and then lost in the rollback?

    Anyone who experienced this issue should be in contact with Customer Service through our help portal here: https://help.standingstonegames.com/...s/requests/new We didn't actually have many transfers during this time frame (most people are already off Hardcore and have been for some time), so hopefully the number of people who could be impacted is very small.

    If you are unable to create a ticket via the Help menu while in the game world, we will be happy to open up a ticket with a GM for you so you can receive further assistance, but we will need more information to open the ticket.     I think you mixed customer support with GM support. Both are two different things.

    If you, let's say, ask an automobile mechanic about your problems you have with your racing car, then you might have problems. You should have contacted the racing car mechanic instead of the general automobile mechanic.

    Plus, the reply sounds to me as if the formulation you used wasn't clear enough for the customer support. "Lost" can mean a lot of things.

    Username that you use to log into the game
    The name of the character you need assistance on
    The server the character is on
    Any other details with regards to the issue you've experienced
    Apparingly you didn't fully fill out the form of the customer support, at least that's the impression I get. Because I otherwise cannot explain to myself why the customer support asks for your character's name.

    I found this out myself that shard couldnt be transferred back to my main server.. I didnt buy that many, but I used them up doing Gold dice rolls. Atleast I can bring the xp stones back.

    I think the classification I chose when submitting the ticket may not have been the best one. I picked "I have a problem with a character, quest, item or another player" as there is not pre-built option: "my character was lost during Thelanis server rollback on Friday"
    With hindsight, I should have maybe picked the option "I need assistance on a technical issue" or "I am having issue transferring character".

    I would have assumed a human would have read the information provided in the bulk of the ticket which described the situation clearly. Right now on my post, you only see from my message the subject line, without the description of event.
    Now I just have to be patient and wait.
