I logged on, rolled up a character to test out strategy for next event. Seems to me that the borderlands slayer area is harder now.

Before, the monsters appeared in pairs, now they come in threes. It was a lot harder to keep from dying.

I always do korthos first, then KOTB
KOTB 'plays' harder then the dungeon level suggests.
