[PSA] Challenges Restriction Level is +4 from its minimum level

If I show you some examples:

• Circles of Power: 4-15, Max 8 lvl
• Colossal Crystal: 8-20, Max 12 lvl
• Buying Time: 12-20, Max 16 lvl
• Labor Shortage: 14-20, Max 18 lvl
• Time is Money: 15-20, Max 19 lvl

So, You'll lose all the challenges if you don't do them in the proper levels.

It's stupid, SSG. Fix it, please.

It also means you will most likely miss the full renown, as you can only get the 6th point from completing the challenge at max level, so unless your level 8 can do a level 15 challenge, you loose the max point

i have done the challenges higher than base. i have a 14 that did the challanges, 14 toon level and 10 for challange level and got the stars he past away and has been deleted, so i can't take picture of that toon. i took a level 10 toon into base 4 challange and played it as a level 6 and got the stars i need to take a picture of the stars soon but i have a pic that shows you can get into them



but you can't do them at 20 it completly locks you out. there seems to be a line drawn that 20 is epic and 19 or lower is heroic. epic toons 20 and higher can't step foot into heroic quests.

if you are trying to play at level and can't get in its a bug that needs to be addressed, if you are trying to do it at lowest possible level to get favor well that is a horse of a different color.

I tried to take a L14 into one of the L4-15 challenges (Kobold Chaos, I think, but I can't remember) during the weekend. It wouldn't let me in regardless of the level I set the challenge to. I even tried entering at the L15 setting and got the message about being too many levels over for hardcore.

I definitely couldn't enter Kobold Chaos on any setting at character level 12, but was reasonably sure I could get in at 10, which bls904c2's post backs up!

I just farmed Colossal Crystal and Moving Targets on the HC server at character level 15 (on challenge level set to 18), both of which are minimum level 8 in theory. These ones at least do not lock out at ML +4 and at a minimum allow ML +7.

I think challenges might be +7 from minimum level? I will try again when I level to 16 and see if I'm locked out from the minimum level 8 ones assuming I don't die in the mean time.

If someone could try and get into Kobold Chaos at level 11 that would confirm for me that they're actually ML+7 (and also have the level 20 lockout thing for heroics).

I can confirm this is the case. On a level 11 character I am unable to enter the Kobold Chaos challenge at any level. Same is true for Lava Caves: Circles of Power.

On Hardcore, Level 4 challenges can be done through Level 10. Level 8 Challenges can be done through Level 15. Plan accordingly.
