Cannot slot ML 16 Sapphire of Defense into Epic Brawn's Spirits' Empty Green Slot

Been away from the game for about a year, and while leveling decided to stick my PRR +10 augment into the empty slot on my Epic Brawn's Spirits, but when I double-click the Sapphire and it opens the crafting window thingy, there is no option for the Spirits. I made sure to unequip and unlock it, and dragged it to the "Your Ingredients" bar, tried clicking around on the window, but no options come up.

Is this a known issue? I realize the item is out of date, but is there a solution to this?

Maybe this is an old item with old epic crafting augments? IIRC there should be a stone of change recipe that gives you a new version of the item.

Thanks! That worked!

Note that it first converted the item to an essence of the item that went into one of my ingredients bags (it implied this happens for exclusive items), then I had to take that out, stick it by itself back into the epic altar, and voila! A new Epic Brawn's Spirits that can accept an augment!
