Default 2 Arti / 18 Clr. int base help

Was think of doing 2 Arti / 18 Clr. int base (Harper Agent Tree) with swf for my clr lifes. Any suggested on race?? Thought about gnome but elf / drow with Nothing Is Hidden Enhancements would be nice too. Any help would be nice. Got 3 clr. lifes to run it. I was going 2 arti cuz I did 3 arti life and got a lot of runes arms and being able to do traps would be nice also.

    So sad but true.

If you have it and you don't mind being locked into a (mostly) mediocre Deity line, Sun Elf will do quite well. You can jump right into higher tier stuff at level 15, you get +2 Int from race, you can get another +2 Int from racial tree, you still get Nothing is Hidden in the T2 area of the racial tree. The only downside is that you don't get extra skill points by starting as Artificer over Cleric, unless you use a heart on it which is a waste.

If you don't have Sun Elf or aren't interested, Gnome or Drow should work just fine.

Unless the OP also wants sun elf past lives, Morninglord isn't necessarily any more efficient than running HTRs on a regular race.

OP: if this is just for cleric PL, any particular reason to stick with so many cleric lvls? Even if you were planning to take War domain for Holy Sword, your DPS will be far better with something more heavily MCed, like art 2 / ftr 6 / cleric 12 or art 6 / ftr 6 / cleric 8. Likewise is SWF just a flavor thing or a hard requirement?

I think the SWF is a hard req since they said they were interested in using runearms. The domain thing is also a decent question, because if you're running any sort of spellsword-like build you've got those runearms as extra 'spells' you can 'cast' while you're swinging. Because it now scales with spellpower even 2 artificer levels can do a lot of damage, especially if you were to go with Air domain and only pump light/electric spellpower.
