Assimar free to VIP or not?

A little confused on this. Read in one dev post that Aasimar would be free to VIPs, but see no mention of that in the most recent ex pack announcements.

So do VIPs get Aasimar?

Agreed. Those expansion packages are not VIP friendly at all... and they penalize us by offering Ravenloft only in March on the DDO Store.

I bought a ton of points a few months back for Otto's and this. As a long standing VIP player, I feel taken advantage of.

For me, the bulk of the tiers was cosmetics, something everyone said was needed in expansions vs store buys and exclusive features. I personally felt the tiers should have had more store buys built in.

I noticed that all too well when I was looking at them. The little nibbles thrown in are the free VIP time, but those are in the more expensive packs which hardly seem worth it overall.

The tree is there, but when you try to put points into it, it opens up the DDO Store. I don't know if that is a bug or an encouragement to get you to buy a pre-order. As of now, as a VIP, I only get to look at the tree.

So, it shows up, and we can earn knife fighter with Ravenloft favor...when it comes out?

If I am recalling correctly, you can earn the Vistani tree via favor. Which could be trivial, such as for Drow, or fairly difficult and requiring a prior purchase, such as for Artificer.

I paid the $138 for the big pack, without a thought, just because I'm a diehard DDO. However looking at what I got, I feel violated. Buyers remorse for sure.

I've been VIP for years, mostly to support the game. I pay by the year. I've purchased all the expansions (although not Ravenloft yet), and I'm not sure there is any content I would lose access to if I cancelled my subscription.

That being said, I kinda feel a little raw in regards to this expansion. I would like to see VIP's getting a bonus when buying the expansion packs, as I receive part of the pack for VIP already, so the value is reduced.
