Had an interesting thing happen tonight that I've not seen before. Was running one of the wheloon quests and ended up dieing. Ran out of range of my stone and everything on my screen other than my UI was black. I couldn't move and the other party members couldn't see me. The chat log said something about failed to recover from teleport. I ended up having to close the client and start it again. They even tried taking my stone out of range to see if I'd teleport again, but it didn't work. Hasn't happened before, but was annoying as I have to repeat the quest again because we were in reaper and I guess leaving and re-entering the quest makes you not get the completion.

I have had the exact same thing happen.

In my case it was in the newcomers quest and was being soulstone carried to a shrine when the ghost teleport failed and I showed in this weird netherworld.

Using a Stephen King literary reference, It felt like the Langoliers Story where I was in the same location but time has left me behind and the Langoliers were coming by to consume the old out-of-phase landscape.

Seems to happen when you have a lot of vertical level changes or a room change between ghost teleport to stone.

I didn't get a netherworld per say, it was just black. I did die while on a ladder going from the sewer area up to the level with the burning buildings, which is unusual for me.

I had that happen once. After falling for eternity in darkness it finally kicked me out into the place iconics start in Wheeloon. That was a dark dark pit. Probably the scariest moment in game for me...maybe they should make it a quest.

Happened again yesterday at the end of through the mirror. This time though it also happened to my other party member, who also happened to be running as an undead form. Managed to bug report it this time.
