Made my first fighter-monk this life, and was expecting keen edge (tier 5) to boost the crit range of my handwraps since I took martial arts for my weapon focus. Nothing in the tool tip or wiki to suggest otherwise, so imagine my disappointment! Vanilla wraps + improved critical bludgeoning + keen edge should crit on 18-20, but testing on the training dummy shows only 19-20. When I switched to a regular quarterstaff, it did show the expected range of 18-20.
My first thought was "ok, I guess wraps aren't technically weapons," except that EVERYTHING ELSE in the kensei tree that uses the word "weapon" works with wraps--that includes the 3rd core of kensei (+1 crit multiplier) and Strike at the Heart (improved destruction effect). It's also pretty odd to have a kensei focus group for "martial arts" and then exclude wraps--the icon for it is a set of HANDS, for pete's sake--and the tool tip explicitly says the martial arts group includes 'handwraps' and 'unarmed'. (NOTE: even actually being unarmed, no wraps, still has same problem.)
So, this seems like a pretty major bug, but hasn't been flagged as one in wiki or the official known issues thread (which doesn't appear to have been updated anyway since U31 in May 2016: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...l-Known-Issues). Is this just me?
