After the training they gave us with Elite Bravery, they should absolutely make the reaper xp follow the same rule. At a minimum, apply full XP at quest+1, and the first penalty at quest+2, so you can still run bravery slightly overlevel, but more restricted than it is now.

It's too hard to find pug groups not playing Reaper. I feel the pain, but differently.

You are the one choosing not to play alts.

Casual player now investing way less than I used to into the game, playing 1-3 months at a time and still want nothing to do with Reaper. #improvepuggrouping#alldifficultiesmatter

been running reaper with guild for over a week now. I still cant wrap my head around how this is good? I could have gimped my dps and my healing on my own without it costing several hundred thousand of dollars and hundreds of dev hours. I mean realy like I have been saying all along. Want a challenge try removing some gear or run permadeath. But I guess that is too hard for people to do. They had to have a setting that does that for them?

    Issue is purely in incentives.

Without incentives (i.e. rewards, trees, gear, etc), only people seeking a challenge / achievement run would have migrated to reaper. Sure some people might have tried low skulls for fun here and there but they wouldn't be doing fresh tr cycles like they are now.

In its base form, it could have been an excellent addition to the game with very little impact except for fueling the endgame community.

Also, the devs have claimed it didn't take much resources and from the implementation - I'd wager they are correct on that front. 100s of thousands of dollars is orders of magnitude higher than the cost it took to implement this.

But you don't do it yourself yes? So they give you that option and they put a little carrot on a string on a stick for you too, oh and a shiny new hamster wheel, enjoy!!!

Certain people will have you believe you dont know what you are talking about, the LFM scene at lvl for reaper is alive and well, and reaper XP is perfect as is

I also want to play on those unicorn servers...

But yeah, I agree 10000% with you OP.

Oh but I do. I run permadeath on cannith with fellow guild members. See the great thing about our guild is that it is 2 in 1. We have our regular main characters in the guild and then we have our permadeath characters in the same guild as well. The only reason I have been running reaper is because it is the new elite. Most everyone on the server and in the guild only wants to run reaper. So I am either forced to solo or join them.
