can't cast fox's cunning

So i have fox's cunning as one of my spells, and when I cast it, my character goes through the motions and the sound effects are there, but the effect never shows up in the top left. eagle's splendor and bear's endurance will just fine, but not fox's cunning.

i can cast fox's cunning on party mates jsut fine, just not myself. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have an item that is already giving you at least +4 INT, bonuses of the same type do not stack. Spells and items (generally speaking) are classed as "Enhancement" bonuses for stacking purposes.
