Thumbs down Anvilfire Inn Revolving Door ...

So logged on a hour ago ... STILL trying to get past the loading screen for the Anvilfire Inn. Task killed the game 5 times so far, Had 1 "server lost connection" and STILL not getting through that door. Even sat for 20 ****ing minutes and nadda.

    Well ... 65+ minutes ... **** it.

Thanks for the Game ... great run.

Just about 2 hours ... WOW so much ****ing fun .. Juuuuust love this game.

Anyone have ANY idea how to fix this.... It's well beyond frustrating at this point.

And it's the door. I get into the game, can run around just fine no dropped packets, normal latency, other games and web browser work just fine ... I just can't get through the door.

I am going to bed now and hopefully I can get through the god damned door in the morning.

Try running another character in and out of the same door (and server). I've had similar issues with Marketplace/Harbor. Was fine zoning into either, but could never leave/enter unless I logged into an alt and did the enter/exit on them. Worked for me about 60% of the time (so not guaranteed).

Yes, the performance issues are getting to be quite bothersome! You did not mention which server. I encountered the usual marketplace freeze out on Sarlona earlier.

Apparently, the Wednesday Weekly restart is good for about three days ...

This worked for me too, again, not 100%, but eventually.

Also, I had my wife log in with her account on the same computer and go through the same door, it's like a corrupted local cache file that a sufficiently different character can overwrite the bad part. If you have somebody else in your house who plays have them try the door on your computer.

I get this frequently in Gianthold, too. It's been happening for months now, with no end in sight.

Wonder if there's a way to clear the game cache.

I tried another toon and they could through my main was still trapped. Did a complete system restart and THEN my dude could get through.

Never experienced this before (odd loading screen freeze sure) and Sonova **** was that frustrating. Had a I been a new player it's very likely I wouldn't head to the forums to see if there was a fix I'd probably just walk away.

Given that a reboot seems to have fixed the trick does anyone know of a way to manually clear the "cache"?
