    Default Build Request for TR Static Duo

    Hello,

    I am looking for a build for a static group of two. This is our first TR (previously rouge and cleric). Rogue wants to go Pally/tank, cleric is open to anything except full caster (already had a 26 wiz). We want a duo that will complement each other and ideally be able to solo pretty much any non raid quest.

    Any thoughts?

    For full performance duo I'd suggest bard/rogue 18/2 (or some other bard split like bard ftr rog 12/2/6) to fill the gaps with pally.. Will do nicely together.

    Can you explain why the worked together so well? What does the bard splash get me? I have never even looked at bard before.

    Great buffs to a melee class while being good at melee, healing and cc also (bard that is). So mutual healing and mutual buffs.

    Or a Dwarf melee artificer fighter 18/2 ...which is nice because you can spec for all three, casting, range, and melee as well as have a little help from your defender. Dwarven Axe is included in the enhancement tree as a "hand and a half weapon". You can burst heal both yourself and the paladin with potions.

    Default Ranged Pal and IntimiTank Pal

    If the rouge went tank with intimidate maybe something basic like this (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...ght=solo+build)
    and cleric went with this build https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...-a-Knife-Fight

    One could tank and the other could deal out the damage?

    Any reason this wouldn't work. Should I use a different tank build?

    Maybe 1 rogue 4 fighter 15 Ranger high intelligence and strength Human Kopesh or Dwarf Dwarven Axe Tempest to get the traps/locks and a 4 fighter 16 Paladin to serve as intimitank. The Paladin should have high enough intelligence for combat expertise and take all the beneficial shield feats. Even though the Con is lower, Drow would be good to do this so you can take advantage of both the Charisma and Intelligence bonuses.

    Both would be able to self heal and wear heavy armor...so that is good survival bonuses for both.
