Though I have for a long time now thrown out the idea that one way to improve non-monkcher archers would be to use feats and enhancements that increase the length of manyshot and reduce the cool down. It would have to be expensive enough that only ranged focused characters would be able to get much value from it and somehow exclusive to 10k.

in fact it could be a toggle that would keep ranged ranger dps (and not monkcher, because u're talking about puttint the permamanyshot as capstone) in a good position

The abilities in them are the same at present, but they are different trees. I say this because they have different minimum levels and they are unlocked in different ways.
This should open the door to make the ranger AA tree have different things. i.e. you could have the ranger AA tree give a different capstone than the elf AA tree.
I'd take them down the road of the ranger tree is more woodsman and the elven more magic.
What if, instead of a perpetual manyshot, it was simply... Toggle: Fire an additional arrow per shot, this shot can not doublestrike and is not effected by Manyshot or Ten Thousand Stars, but calculates damage exactly the same as the first shot.
If this is too strong, perhaps: This additional shot only hits the first target when harming multiple enemies with Improved Precise Shot.
So essentially, a perpetual tier-1 version of manyshot with a couple potential nuances that make it slightly weaker.
I'd rather see more doubleshot, frankly.

You could also sit in Crusader, with your weapon's threat range boosted, inside a 10% damage bonus circle of healing that burns anything that gets close, stacking up Archer's Focus. Just let the death flow, like you were the world's most unwelcome Flame Turret.
