Default Devs: SWF+orb on non-bard WAI?

I see lots of builds making use of SWF and orbs in the offhand, and it's confirmed you don't break SWF with an orb in the offhand even without the "arcane marauder" swashbuckler enhancement.

Does anyone know if this is WAI or do the devs intend to "fix" SWF+orbs without arcane marauder?

I just don't want to plan any characters around SWF+orb play if they intend to fix this.
    Thanks!

    I think the problem was:

SWF ~ legal with orb in off hand.

Shield Mastery ~ legal with orb in the off hand.

So in fact everyone was "doubledipping" off two different weapon systems ~ shield and single weapon.
So U24 changed orbs to not be considered shields for the sake of Shield Mastery.

Not debating the right or wrong of it, just explaining.

Orbs with SWF are not changed.

    Default Nvm!

Ugh, I'm very silly. I was staring at the wiki: http://ddowiki.com/page/Swf

and didn't read the text carefully enough. Sorry, carry on!
