IF u do a 10/10 lvl split what determines the past life?
I'm currently wanting to a 10 barb 10 cleric.

there is a dominant class listing on the wiki entry for past life feats.

10/10 isn't exactly a great split, 9/9/2 is generally much better for heroics. There are some good build templates floating around based on it too, googling pastlifenmo should turn up a good example.
The Barbarian alignment restriction of Non-Lawful might put a damper on adding paladin levels.
The splits on a multiclass build vary in effectiveness and should be more determined by your goal
In this case the 10th level of Barbarian adds Barbarian HP, +5 HP for Class Level every 5 Levels, +1 BAB and +1 Fortitude save
The 10th level of Cleric adds Cleric HP, +5 HP for class level every 5 levels, +1 BAB, +1 Fortitude/Will Save and 1 Level 4 Spell Slot and 1 Level 5 Spell slot
11 Levels of Barbarian would add in Greater Rage
11 Levels of Cleric would add in 3 Level 6 Spell slots
You may want to review based on your Builds goal, if the 10th/11th level of a class is helping your build or if adding in a level or 2 of another class might be more helpful - Such as Fighter levels as the first two levels come with Bonus Fighter Feats. A 10/9/1 or 9/9/2 Cleric/Barb/Ftr might net you more bang (granting you Tower Shield proficiency). Of course if the goal is the Barbarian PL the 11/9 Barbarian/Cleric might be an option.
ya, after replying back about adding the 2 lvls of paladin i remembered the the lawful restriction. i went with 10/10 so i can get heal scroll use at 95% chance, i don't rage that often so i don't need greater rage, but thank you for that info. its giving me some ideas on some later builds
ya, im going for my 3rd past life of barb, in a 10/10 split of barb/cleric, the barb the dominant class
