Ship Buffs for Pets not working right

Some strange stuff is going on with ship buffs and arty/druid pets. I don't know if it's random or what the cause is.

Here are some examples:

• Trying to buff my Druid wolf companion by using top buff bar on Stormglory Tempest equipped with the Sellswords Tavern (+3 to hire abilities). The wolf only gets the one Sellswords Tavern buff (Nothing from the Proving Ground, etc)
• Trying to buff my Arty iron defender on Windspyre Falcon (NO Sellswords Tavern). Arty pet gets the buffs.

I don't know if it is Ship Type related... or if it has something to do with the Sellswords Tavern buff... or if it is class related. It's hard to test because the buffs don't go away for 4 hours.

Anyone else notice issues with buffing pets?

Known Issue

Iron Defenders are not getting buffs from the "Buff Bar".

They only say iron defender but it's all pets.

I could have sworn they fixed pets and ship buffs in one of the patches.

I think this is something that has broke recently. (as in last patch)

Not to my knowledge (which admittedly falls way short of the top of the pyramid). Afaik, it hasn't worked for any pet since the new ships came out.

They were working for my arty dog since patch 2. They would stay through death and instance changing, although they would last for 3 hours while I would get them for 4 hours (though that did not brother me). Now in patch 3 my dog will get the buffs from the ship, but they disappear from him as soon I as get off the ship. One more thing. patch 2 notes don't say anything about fixing the dog buffs, so i guess they fixed it unintentionally and then just re-broke it in patch 3.
