Default Ruby of Silver Strikes in a bow

If you slot a Ruby of Silver Strikes in a long bow, will you be able to by-pass silver DR with that bow. I know the sliver long bow does not by-pass DR even though it is made of silver. But if you have a long bow that is metaline, it is able to by-pass DR with its arrows.

Your assessment should be correct. A bow with Silver as its properly will have its ammo imbued by that bow.

    Default Save the augment?

The auggies are nice, but sometimes you can conserve a red slot and use for spell power by taking this Martial ED Feat:

Pierce Damage Reduction (metal) Passive Your equipped weapons are considered (Choose one of the following: Adamantine or Byeshk or Cold Iron or Silver) allowing them bypassing the form of damage reduction.

Also from the Divine Sphere you can get this:

Holy Strike Passive Your weapons gain Ghost Touch. Your vorpal strikes deal 10d6 untyped damage vs. Evil enemies. (This bonus damage works with melee, unarmed, and ranged attacks.)

Nice for Haunted Hauls and Thunderholm.

Thanks, but im looking at this heroic lvls and what few spells this character has are used for buffing so spell power is not a concern.

YW, I sorta guessed, but I saw my opportunity and I took it to plant the seed for later on when red slots might be in moar demand
