Default Heroic Elite Blown to Bits Bugged

Maybe on all difficulties. Either way, last night, I attempted to complete Blown to Bits on Elite with a small group and things... just sort of ground to a halt. We got into the quest, buffed, and headed in to get started. I got as far as the demo crate, grabbed the charges, and then was unable to move. We could still swing our weapons around and chat for a bit, eventually we all disconnected.

    This happened twice.

The first time was interesting. When we came back, I was outside of Schemes of the Enemy(weird) our party had become a raid group, and one of the hirelings was the party leader(I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that Heystack Ironhorse may be the LEAST qualified raid leader in the history of DDO)

Also I got something like 240 demolition charges for some reason.

So anyway, after the second DC I just didn't re-launch the game and went to bed. Anyone else experience a similar bug?

You just had a really bad case of mass lag spike

I'll give you an Otto's Box for your demolition charges.

Do they last or does the next quest trip their "drop on exit" flag?

Just as a counter point I ran Blown to Bits on elite last night with one other person with no issues at all.

We were on Argo, in case it's a server issue, and were running it around 10pm Eastern time.

Did you get to keep those charges outside of the quest?

I didn't get to keep any of these charges. In fact, once my inventory was loaded down with all these charges, the game lagged for me and my entire party, then froze, then completely died. Had to restart the game, and ended up outside of the dungeon and back at the beginning of Cannith. =/

I wonder if possibly you picked up so many charges that you become overloaded and thus were unable to move. I would drop all but 1 just to check.

I can confirm this glitch. Happened in a party but long ago (at least two Updates ago). The effect is like a massive DC, where everything becomes completely frozen. When you are able to move, it doesn't take long for the glitch to take hold of you again.

Please bug report this immediately so that the developers know of this and can investigate. Their work doesn't seem to allow them to scan the forums regularly to see our comments.

I can confirm this same bug on a different quest (Lines of Supply - Heroic). Was in a group with two others and two hirelings, all of our characters froze and couldn't move, although my character still was able to make the animation to attack. We were talking fine through the in game voice chat about being frozen, however the monsters still moved and we could hear audio of attacks happening, but nothing I was shooting was connecting. Then all three of us simultaneously dc'ed and when we relogged, we were back in Eveningstar with both hirelings in the group, one now the party leader. This happened sometime last week for us.

    Same quest, different "bug".

A couple months back, I was favor running and soloing elite Blown To Bits on my level 28 ranger. Severely overlevel and overpowering the quest with an improved smiting bow. Everything was going well until I ran into two artificers on top of boxes. What kind of stun grenades do they have? Basically, the two of them happened to sync up perfectly so that it was an endless barrage of seemingly unsavable stunnage. I had a 46 will save, not terrific for level 28, but this is a level 21 quest. I assume Will is the save I would be making, although there appeared to be no save at all. It was just instastun fest 2014. My fort save is in the low 50's and my reflex is anywhere from 65-75 depending on destiny. Those should be plenty for a level 21 quest. The grenades weren't really hurting me, but I couldn't break out of the stun to retreat or attack. I also couldn't recall out due to the constant attacks, so I had to forcequit the game. At that point I was so annoyed that I just found something else to do. In hindsight I should have just /death or tried /stuck.

Was the no save stun effect an oversight? It didn't used to be there, then showed up somewhere around Shadowfell Conspiracy time. The stun is broken when another enemy attacks you, but when you have two artificers spamming away on you with no one else around, you can't break free.

Can my artificer get those grenades with the same cooldown? Or be able to spam tier 3 rune arm shots like the cannoneers in epic 3BC?

    Default Still bugged

Blown to bits still bugged, tried various difficulty levels. still fills up my bag with charges, then locks up and crashes. Can't finish the quest lines, or get past the first room.

Weird bug indeed, I hope they the devs pick up on it and fix it during the next patch. I had a pretty bag lag spike in the Black Loch just as I was looting the chests in the gold room. I DC'ed and when I logged back in I was outside back in House D and my hireling was the party leader and still in my "party" (even though I was by myself) in the House D ward. So I didn't get my chests but I did complete the quest.

Not sure I could repeat it if I wanted to though, and that sounds like the Blown To Bits issue is a repeatable issue.

Very strange. I did this on heroic elite in a group about one week ago without any issues (playing on "lonely planet"). Also I have never seen this bug since I'm in the game for about 2 years now.
