Default Warforged Tavern Consumables in the Forgotten Realms

Why are there warforged HP and SP recovery consumables in Forgotten Realms taverns? Warforged are not native to the Forgotten Realms world. The devs should at least make the tavern barkeep say something like, "This is an import from Eberron!" when selling the items to a warforged character or something to that effect. The platinum price for these consumables could even be higher than in Eberron taverns.

This is a minor point but making the aforementioned change would be consistent with the lore between the two worlds. Characters can also access their Eberron bank accounts from the Forgotten Realms but we already acknowledge that bankers control the multiverse.

Warforged have been coming through the rift now for a couple years game time so I'm sure interplanar trade routes have been established and enterprising innkeepers have begun stocking for warforged adventurers.

    Warforged are native to FR:

    Better questions:

Why are people treating WFs like normal people, not something unfamiliar?
Drow slaves are saying: "Blablabla warforged, you better kill me now", not "On lolth! Sentient golems came to avenge my captivity and crush my enemies!"

What are ghallanda distillates doing in FR? Ghallanda is halfing dragonmarked house of hospitlity (and why describtion mentions elves lol).

With 4E they retrofitted a lot of things to other worlds like WF most worlds and Dragonboring to Eberron

    They were.
FR just stolen them, together with artificers.

Artificers are neither a core Dungeons & Dragons class nor a Forgotten Realms-specific one. Rather, it is an Eberron-specific class. In spite of this the current policy of Wizards of the Coast is to allow classes and races of all kinds, even those normally considered setting-specific, to be allowed in any D&D game, regardless of setting. Furthermore, the anything that is legal for Living Forgotten Realms is considered canonical, including both artificers and formerly Eberron-exclusive races like warforged. Therefore, though likely rare due to their lack of status as a core class or Realms-specific one, artificers do exist on Toril. This is further evidenced by the brief mention of the Body of Artificers as a part of High Imaskar's government.

I hate that WOTC ruling. Not only did it put Warforged on Toril and /ATHAS/ (seriously, a magically driven creature in a world where the very use of magic kills everything around you?!), it also spread Kender and Tinker Gnomes to every world.

It also means that Vistani are on every world. How that happens is beyond me, since if any of them figured out how to escape the Mists, they'd probably /all/ go. And that priests of every god are on every world. Enjoy, Eberron...Bane is there now. And your gods are far to non-interventionist to do much about him. You're screwed.

On the more amusing side, though, it means that anyone can play a savage cannibal halfling on any world! EAT THEM TOWNIES!

The most horrific effect of that ruling, though, if followed through logically? Mercykillers on every world. If you don't know what a Mercykiller is, here's the short-form. They're a Sigilian Faction dedicated to law. They go beyond Lawful Good, Lawful Evil, Lawful Neutral, or even Lawful Stupid though. They don't consider any laws to apply to them but their own...and their laws apply to everyone, even if you don't know them. And the word 'Killer' is in their name for a good reason. Violate any law that they take note of, and they find out (just existing is enough for some people to get targetted) and you will be hunted across all the planes and slaughtered, unless you can somehow defeat every one of them who ever takes up the hunt for you. Normally this requires that your name be something like Demogorgon to be powerful enough to repel them at will, though.

Enjoy, worlds of D&D! WOTC made a bad call, and hosed you all unless the DM says 'NO WAY!'. Pray you have a smart (or kind) DM.
