Yeah i picked up the starter pack despite having played for years - 250TP & 5x excellent XP pots for £1.80ish, equivalent to over 1500 TP value alone was nice, the extra bits were just gravy.

I got the starter pack just for the permanent hireling. Apparently she offers Divine Vitality and, being a Gold Seal hireling, can be summoned multiple times in the same dungeon for instant extra spell points.

I don't quite understand how in-game objects are allocated to characters if you add them through a product code on myaccount.turbine.com though. Do they just magically appear on the first character you log in with, or what?

If it is like Tome of learning, you have a barter item on the first character you log on. The barter item is BtA so you can pass it to another char if you want (and have shared bank) but the item you will have from the barter is BtC

How did you get the starter pack so cheap? Its says %75 off but the price is still $9.99

They keep shifting things around, MotU also changed back and forth between regular and discount price (and didn't even show up some of the time.) try again later I guess?
