Default 12Wizard/4Cleric/4Monk - The Undead Immortal

Ok strange split, this is the idea (no special race requirement since you will not have the points to spend in, probably human is the best choice for free feat):

12 wizard pm: 32 points spent in the tree needed for improved shrouding.
    - wraith form 35% incorporeal and bonus dodge
    - tenser, displacement, haste, rage and other buffs
    - 8%crit chance with negative energy
    - all the good pm traits

4 cleric divine disciple: 23 points spent in the tree needed for negative energy burst sla - 7sp cost, 6 second cooldown.
    - +35 negative spellpower
    - +9 universal spellpower
    - 6%crit chance with negative energy
    - +2 saves

4 monk ninja spy: 26 point spent needed for no mercy +30% damage on helpless (stacking with sense weakness).
    - +3 reflex
    - +3dodge
    - evasion

Then we have enought feats for t3 stances (looking at earth for crit multiplier) and all the metamagics and mental thoughness.

Main stat is wisdom (high 40sh), followed by medium str/dex/con/int (low 40sh)

Use FoTW for sense weakness, bonus wisdom, primal scream, adrenaline knock 2 seconds no save. Twist in energy burst, dance of flowers and legendary tactics.

Idea is: stun 1 mob, knock the second and use energy burst for 50%+30%+30% aoe damage (figure a normal hit is around 2k for 20sp before the helpless bonus without a too high spellpower bonus, 2k --> 5k on helpless, consider that even without max int ee mobs do not save when helpless).

    Do you like it?
    - survivability will be very good with the negative energy burst sla and all the dodge/incorporeal/displacement
    - cc will be very good via stunning fists and no save knock
    - dps will be pretty high with super bonus on helpless, +1 crit multiplier and energy burst twisted every 30 seconds

Ok, now the problem is: 32+26+23= 81!!! Hell I need 1 more action point to do this so maybe can drop the 3rd negative energy burst tier or the improved shrouding.

Tell me what do you think. Crazy?

Your neg energy burst will be casted at caster level 4 (the sla) making it 2d4+8. Healing will be low.

i did something similar, but with more cleric levels. you can check it on my signature.

    This su cks

Took a look at your build but I think wraith is too important to have with tenser and longer duration spells.

Also, do you have to target yourself everytime you cast harm?

Love the idea behind these divine undead builds though

Built it and tested it as an iconic (sun elf) to be honest the idea is sound, and correctly geared it can be made to work.

I actually looked at two different versions a multi lived fist fighter and a first life short sword user (dex based) although the sla neg energy burst is only cast at lvl 4? I found that at lvl 15 (base iconic) it would typically heal/harm for 40 - 50 damage, now remembering that this was with very little extra added negative energy (gearwise) etc.
Now you also can have negative energy burst from wizard spells so I don't see any real issue other than you having two negative bursts which is hot.

I suggest building a quick iconic morninglord and playing it at 15 (I was a 7wiz/4cleric/monk) and having a play around with it, if you can acquire the gear I think it's a sound build and fun to boot.

Note the idea I had for the shortsword version was a Neg Levelling (vampire, ninja spy, Epic Envenomed Blade) build, now with the new neg-lvl augments coming from mabar this could be even better I believe.
    Toons:
Smallmans Syndrome, Rovac, Dragnipur, Prettyhater Machine, Lubed, Castinfist

    i am thinking about doing 12 Wiz/8 monk or 13 Wiz/8 Monk..

    Also checked your Korsat build..

I just want to ask: What is Knock you are referring to in this post that u say u 'knock' the 2nd enemy? Is this Stunning blow? Or an enhancement named 'Knock' that stuns or makes opponent helpless?

    Thanks!

I refer to adrenaline knockdown t4 in the FoTW tree: overwhelming force. It doesn't work well with unarmed but you can make 2 mobs helpless in 1 second and kill them both with energy burst boosted 30%+30% before the helpless part run off

Actually for this kind of build the best split looks 12wiz/6monk/2fighter for the haste boost, +3 stun and extra action boosts. Cleric sucks due to energy burst sla being lvl 4 caster level sadly

    Thanks!

I am about ready to TR and the split i have is indeed 12 wiz 6 monk 2 fighter,

I contemplated WF for the +3 DC's, Halfling for the fun (better looks than Half elf). Still torn between halfling and Half-elf. Looks or Power? Now thinking about 13 Wiz 5 Monk 2 Fighter for Otto's Ball. Gonna need pumping up Int to 16, trade off would be a 10 Con and foregoing Epic Toughness.. and -2 feats. Might just work with the Will save debuff spells & some past lives for Spell Pen.. I'll see..

Going to try the 12 Split til lvl 19 and if i feel adventurous i will use the free LR to respec for the 13 Wiz build

Personally I wouldn't go 13 wiz For the otto sphere, dc and spell penetration will never be high enough even For eh content. Your cc is stunning fists so you will better raise wisdom.

If you are looking For dc keep 18 wizard platform, you still have room For twf line, ic and stunning fists.

Regarding race I would suggest human For extra feat and damage boost, 2nd is dwarf For stun dc and hp. Then all the other races are just fine.
