    Default Allot of BUGS still

Two Bugs remain, my guess is many many more will be discovered=

+2 crit range with shuriken does nothing (examining the shuriken shows a crit range of 18-20x2, no crit confirmation rolls on 18, only 19&20 with imp crit thrown).

Monk +3 to dodge cap enhancement does nothing
Making DDO a better game 1 post at a time!

Is there a reason why Lamannia server uptime always coincide with bonus XP weekends on the Live servers? It makes it so we have to choose between testing and bonus XP, not a good thing if you ask me...

It's because for this BETA testing there are much more people who can play/test on the weekends. I don't think they intentionally made it to colide with the xp bonuses.

i can spare you a lot of wasted time on those notes.

look thru the Lam forums for the changes that everyone is begging for.
none of those changes will be present.

now look for the things the players despise.
those will be updated to make them even more intolerable.

<sarcasm>oh and of course, all the monk capstones are now obtainable with 2 monk levels and 5 points spent in the enhancement tree.</sarcasm>

Devs posting about stuff, but still no release notes. And they wonder why no one believes anything they say till it actually happens.

Wow, 2 changes/fixes. I really hope Patch one is huge. It needs to be.

Only vitally important changes have been allowed in, specifically to make sure the software is as stable as we can make it. Other fixes have already been done for later release, but we want more time and testing before those reach live, to prevent those fixes from producing more errors. Squeezing in non-vital changes at the last minute is something that involves substantial risk of breaking things that are already known to work.

No, it makes sense. And I understand it's better to be safe than sorry. It's just incredibly frustrating for us (as well as to you I would hope) to see so many potential bugs reported in the Bug Discussion sub-forum from the opening of this preview still sitting there with no confirmation that they are bugs with fixes ongoing, are WAI or fixed for later.

the notes contain this interesting snip:

Quest Experience no longer deprecates down permanently for repeatedly playing it. Instead Quest Experience now functions similar to chest ransack mechanics:
Normally each time you repeat a quest, the amount of experience the quest grants decreases. This remains true as of Update 19, although the curve of how much XP deprecates after how many runs as been adjusted. For each repetition of the same quest, the deprecation is 20%
Quest XP deprecation from repetition now bottoms out at 20% instead of 10%
In 18 hours, the quest will adjust the XP back up by 50%
The Quest XP report panel now updates to reflect what your current bonus/ransack amounts are
The Experience Ransack Values are now properly set

Load screen tips have been added for Quest Ransack and Daily Bonus, ahoy!
im sorry, but what definition of deprecate are we using here? lol

    *edit*

checked merriam-webster.com, and i think you meant definition 1!

most likely. but reading 'deprecate' is so much more entertaining and not only that...it kinda matches my feelings towards the new anti-grinding rules. lol
