    Default GS item question

I`m almost ready (1 lds short) to craft my first GS item. I`ve decided on a HP item but I can`t make my mind on a heavy fort/stoneskin or an enervation ward. ¿Which duration/damage absortion does the stoneskin clickie give? Enervation sounds good for uber hp mobs, ¿but is it worth on ehard? ¿does it work on bosses?

    Thanks for the advice.

Honestly the proc rate on enervation guard is really low, and imo the benefit of a min2 accessory isn't the stoneskin clicky but consolidating heavy fort onto your gs item. My opinion is to make either min2 or smoke2 as blurry and displacement clickies are very useful.

I wouldn't make smoke 2 anymore, as the Bracers of Twisting Shade are really easy to get at least the EN version of, and are rather good bracers - min 2 is probably the best bet for most melees, as it takes care of heavy fort and +45 HP - if you're rocking heavy fort somewhere else, go with enervation guard.

Make a lot of tier 2 greensteel clickies for displacement and stoneskin.

If you are a melee or a divine I'd advise to go for smoke2 for blurry (even tho it's not as good as it used to be since it seems to be everywhere) and no swap displacement clicky.
If you are an arcane then min 2 is probably the best option.

I think that depends on whether you plan on tr'ing the toon a quite a bit, twisting shade is great but it's epic levels only, lvl 11 to 22 you can use greensteel but not bracers of twisting shade.

what kind of build are you? what level? planning on TRing? this all depends really.

Minos i think is a better item to wear for HF plus you get +20 hp that stacks with GFL and a GS hp item for pre 20.

enervation guard works good on trash mobs, but not bosses. it has around a 20-25% proc chance. if you are a melee, you can see it proc quite a bit in fights.

stoneskin clicky can be easy enough to craft since you only need to craft up to tier 2.

My toon is a 16/2/2 warchanter (epic 3) and I`m not planning on TRing anytime soon. Since I don`t play ee and most probably I`ll be replacing my Minos with a GS helm, i think i`ll go for heavy fort. Another solid choice would be con opp, but scrolls/wands give me all the healing i need (except some emergencies) and my other use for sp are buffs (except the ocasional Otto`s irresistable dance, baby dance).

Yeah, Min 2 helm would be a good bet. Displacement clickies are less useful to you - but so are stoneskin ones, just get stoneskin wands and as many wands/scrolls/whatever of displacement as you can.

Agreed min2 hp helm wouldn't be a bad choice for you. Not sure what the other four levels you have are, (not that familar with bard builds to know whats common) but if you are in medium armor the chitin breastplate has toughness on it as well so you wouldn't even lose toughness. (it's on plenty of other gear too, just thinking about the gear options)

Exactly, I´ve recentely aquired a Chitin Terrorweb so toughness is already there. And the GS stoneskin is lev.16, much better than the lev.7 wands i can buy from the 12. And since I don´t run ee, Min II is the way to go, I guess.

    Thanks everybody for the advice.
