Critical Multiplier & Burst effects

Do ED abilities that increase the critical multiplier (Shadowdancer's Executioner's Strike/Shot; LD's Devastating Critical, etc.) also increase the die step from burst effects that do more damage with higher multipliers?

As in, does a repeater with Superior Heartseeker go from 13d6 to 13d8, or does it only affect the base crit damage?

I believe those effects only change the multiplier of the base critical damage, and the additional burst-style effects are based purely on the weapon's crit multiplier.

Things like burst are based only on the actual crit multiplier of the weapon. Crit multiplier increasing effects will not have any effect on the burst.
