Is it really possible?
I mean it would cool to be able to cure my hireling (Albus) with potions.
No matter how hard I tried, Albus ignores my potions.
Unless Albus is not considered as friend?

So my resident Artificer Mechakoopa tells me that if you use curse pots that were not bought from the guild potion vendor and instead buy them in the marketplace that your potion will indeed work on other people.
Bowserkoopa,
I think I just did a good deed...it feels dirty I don't like it.
Keeper of Keenbean's Heart
most non-guild potion already do this
Try buying them from the market
I do not consider any of the hirelings to be my "friend."* They are as much an enemy as the mobs in the quest, as evidenced by their repeated efforts to sabotage my gameplay experience whether through their fanatical suicidal tendencies (if they could stand in spinny-traps while treading lava and gargling acid, they would), or their outright refusal to heal either themselves or you (though they will heal charms or summons unsolicited). I complete quests to spite them.
*Larafey is a glorious and magnificent exception.
Answer: Guild pots are self only.
vendor pots are whoever you select.
Barbarian rage: guild pots can still be used.
Vendor pots can not be used while raged.
Thanks, I'll non guild potions.

Very strange bug.
Now I'll have to carry 2 stacks of curse pots (= -1 to inventory slot).

Yes, they have worked that way for years.
I use the pots from the vendors. Better yet, look for items with five remove curse.
