what processor, and especially what graphic card are you using ?

How did you configure your dual screen ?

Mine works fine on an Nvidia GTS 250 ( Pentium D and Windows XP ).
The driver is configured to simulate a single large screen.

I'm not sure Intel Chipsets are compatible with dual screen in game.
( I know they can do it, the laptop I use at work is working with two monitors )

You can look at your userpreferences.ini file in the Dungeons and Dragons Online folder ( in your Document folder )
There's various parameters you can tweak :

Resolution comes to mind as it is the screen resolution the game uses. ( in the Display section )

Edit : also, what version of Direct X are you using ?

As it says on top of this page if you use Direct X10 you may have a black screen. In that case you need to disable it in game, then restart the client.

Default Game needs to be running in windowed mode

I also have a dual monitor setup and regardless of vid card, memory, processor, blah, blah, from many other previous posts on same issue from way back when, you need to keep the game in windowed mode if you want to be able to mouse across the two monitors with ease. I dont remember why but there were a lot of posts about this a long time ago. Something about DDO not recognizing dual monitors or such. I put my main screen in windowed mode and drag the borders all the way to the edge of the monitor and pop the wiki or compendium up on the next screen over. It works, lame, but it works

Its not how you play the game but if you're gonna play the game to win!

It's not needed... I am in Full screen mode. Now I can't tell for other version of windows, but on XP Fullscreen mode works fine with Dual screen, as long as your card driver allows you to extend the main screen to the second one.
