Sound fishy?

Before I tack this onto the rediculous bug lists in General, I wanted to check here first.

A guildmate didn't get any trap parts today. He's got a level 5 Rogue, 18 DD; he did the Depths chain, Rest for the Restless, and Purge the Heretics. He disabled all traps, but got no trap parts from any.

So, just wondering if this is within reasonable probability, or suspicious enough for complaint. He thought it was unusual, in the least.

Nothing unusual.

At level 20 disabling all the spinning traps in VoD hard i can get no trap parts at all, or disabling epic fire traps in epic claw of vulkoor just a handfull of fire trap parts.

That's because i'm an assassin.

Rogue mechanics are completely another league when you talk about collecting trap parts, sadly the end products (grenades and mines) are lackluster (and i'm being nice here).

Your friend is level 5 so he hasn't got a Prestige enhancement yet, if he really wants to collect trap parts then mechanic is the way from level 6 and above.

Trap parts only take space in green bags, wish i could turn off getting them.
