Did companions for Rangers get added to the build? I've always gone with a Ranger/Rogue multiclass, but have never gone past level 3 for the Ranger side because there is no real advantage without getting the companion.

Nope. Still no Animal Companion.
They did give rangers a few more useless spells to add to the list along with destroying a few of the decent spells that Rangers already had.
Summon Nature's Ally 4 (Gained at level 14) is still useless.
Summons a CR 4 Razor Cat OR a CR 5 Glass Spider...
Spike Growth: Tested in the Vale and it was doing about 24 ish damage and lasts for a whopping 15 seconds. By the time you've managed to drag some mobs to it you need to cast it again and it's a slow cast that takes far too long.
Snare: This one is basically the Ranger version of Web. Has a STR Save, my Ranger has 20 WIS and the DC for it was 17...
My favourite change has to be Neutralize Poison.
Costs 20 SP and lasts for a whopping 1 minute. Cast this a couple of times and you'll be staring at an empty SP bar and remember that Rangers don't get Echo's of Power, so once they're out, they're out. Basically you may as well ditch the spell and carry pots.
(Side Note: Was wearing my GS Immunity item and Scorpions and Trogs in the Vale both poisoned me, so that's another useless item to add to the list)

I want my freeking companion!!! Why would you give the arti a companion and not the ranger? The summoned young razor cat SUCKS!!! Rangers are meant to roll wit their companions. WE WANT THEM!!! Before getting NEW classes out there, get the ones you allready have the way they are SUPPOSE to be.

You get both ranged and melee feats for free instead of having to chose plus ranger companions are half the level of the druid ones which are that useful anyways and you want one half as good? and which do you give up ranged or melee?
Beware the Sleepeater
I would rather have it stick as closely to the 3.5 rules as possible. People that have played pnp and come to DDO to play probably expect it to have the same rules in place.
