Help me finding the error

Hi there!

I have a level 18 Half-Elf(ranger 12/ fighter 5 / rogue 1) toon and I don't why I can't have acces to arcane archer PRE. Can you help me?

I have Point Blank shot, Weapons Spe : ranged and arcane prodigy (Sor PL).

Any tough?

You have Weapon Specialization: Ranged instead of Weapon Focus: Ranged. That's what's preventing you from taking the PrE.

Nope! i did an error in the OP. I have Weapons focus : ranged. Thanks for trying.

Ah! Sounds like something I've heard of before. If you are an Elf/Half Elf AND a Ranger then you need to be careful how you select the enhancements, it's possible to select the Ranger version, but not have enough levels in ranger to take the line to the top tiers. In your case you only have 12 levels of ranger. Taking the Ranger Version locks out the elven version, even though the elven version could go higher.

Short answer: Reset your enhancements and pay close attention to the AA line you choose, don't hit Accept until you have seen it go up past it's current level, then you'll know that you have the elven line and not the ranger one.

I just tried to reset my enhancement and I was able to select Elven AA, but now I can't select Tempest...

I suppose I can't have both on the same build...

Yup. It should still say that in the Elven Arcane Archer description.
