This seems odd but it has consistently happened to me. I started out as a warforged and TRed again into a warforged (wz both times). Now I have TRed again into a drow but for some reason I am still getting a lot of docents in my loot list. For example, I have been wanting the diabolists robe but after finishing an epic chronoscope run, my end reward loot list has a Diabolist Docent. Once, ok no biggy, but stuff like this has followed me ever since I became a drow. I think there is a real bug here or I'm just really really unlucky.

named loot typically doesn't follow class restrictions.

I don't believe that loot cares about your race, the only option is to have it base on your class (and as mentioned above, even that doesn't apply to named items). It's just bad luck that you are seeing more docents than robes after your TR.
