Defender of Siberys: Stances

Forgive this noob question which I should, but don't know the answer too.

Defender of Siberys: Stances

My pally is now on her 3rd life and this time she's DoS.. so I'm reading about the stances on the DDOwiki.. it says I use a shield action boost to enter/ use stance ..and blah blah blah benefits..


Does this mean these stances last for 20 seconds? (the duration of the boos) or ~crossing fingers~ do they stay active until deactivated?

They stay active until you turn it off or die.
